My morning ritual.

Every day I get up early before anyone else in our house. Well the dog gets up with me and takes perch on my lap. Just to be clear this is screen-free time.

The first thing I do is draw some cards from my oracle decks. I have 7 in total and kinda can't help myself with these. I rotate depending on what I'm feeling and that becomes my intention for the day.

I then alternate between reading and writing. Hibernation has definitely kickstarted reading for me, I literally read 3/4 of a book 2 years ago and then forgot about it. Fast forward to now and I have read 3 books in 4 weeks.

I like to think I've just started a bookclub with myself.

If not reading I grab a journal and a pen and write whatever is on my mind, a poem, a song, a short story, thoughts, a stream of consciousness, and opening up my mind to start the day strong and positive.


If the rest of the fam really sleeps in I'll then go and do some exercise. For me it's all about starting the day in quiet with yourself and listening to your body. So often we don't look after ourselves or prioritise and if ever there was a time to do this it's now! Even 10 minutes for you and only you. It could change your whole day for the better. We aren't that busy. We got this!
